'Christ is Made the Sure Foundation' was premiered by the chamber choir and organist of Queen Anne's School, Caversham at Westminster Abbey on 23rd October 2015. The piece was performed again on November 11th 2015 at St. Peter's Eaton Square in London.

The brief of the composition was to write a piece that would be the Anthem for a service based on the Latin c.7th- 8th century text 'Christ is Made the Sure Foundation' translated by John Mason Neale (1818-66).
